Before and After School

Enrichment Program (B.A.S.E.)

The YMCA of Saratoga’s Before and After School Enrichment Program (B.A.S.E.) currently has a openings for School Age Site Assistants and Supervisors.  

These positions involve supervising children in Kindergarten - 7th grade with homework assistance, structured activity, play, guidance and support after school and also on early dismissal days and Fun Days at the YMCA when provided.

Eligible candidates are self-motivated individuals willing to work as a team to provide a safe, enriching and rewarding environment for school age children.

Must be available Monday through Friday from 6:45 to 9:15 a.m. AND/OR 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Positions will be based out of Saratoga Springs City School District, Ballston Spa Central School District, Corinth Central School District as well as the YMCA of Saratoga's facility.

These positions REQUIRE prior child care experience.

Training & Certification in First Aid and CPR will be provided by the YMCA of Saratoga.

This is a GREAT opportunity for retired teachers to continue working with school age children.

Housekeeper and Custodian Positions

The Maintenance Department has part-time positions open for a Housekeeper and Custodian.  These positions involve upkeep of locker rooms, facilities and grounds, as well as general cleaning duties.  Must be available nights and weekends—hours vary.  Please apply in person. Part-Time Head Swim Coach

The YMCA of Saratoga is seeking a part-time head coach for our swim team, to work with assistant coaches and a team of 85-90 swimmers.  Competition in both YMCA and USA leagues.

Previous coaching experience is necessary. The schedule will include nights and weekends .In addition, current certification in Lifeguarding and CPR preferred, but we are willing to re-certify any expired certifications. Excellent human relation skills and  communication skills are a must.

Birthday Party Host/Hostess

We are looking for a fun and out-going person who has a passion for working with children to serve as a Birthday Party Host/ Hostess.

 The shifts are typically as follows:

Saturday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Malta Child Care

The YMCA of Saratoga is currently looking to hire substitutes for Malta Child Care.  Applicants must be available to work from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.   This position requires a high school diploma, child care experience, and an Early Childhood/ Education Degree is preferred. Infant Assistant Teacher

The YMCA of Saratoga’s Malta Child Care has an opening for a part-time Infant Assistant Teacher Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m, as well as part-time substitutes. Corporate

Marketing/Development Assistant

The YMCA of Saratoga is seeking an energetic, hard-working and creative candidate to join our Marketing/Development team.

This person will help to produce all printed and web-based materials, as well as being involved in the Y’s annual fundraising campaign and special events.

This full-time staff person will also assist with communication and follow-up with current and potential donors, tracking donations and expenses, and updating the donor database.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have a minimum of one year experience in graphic and web design.

Excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, determine priorities, and meet deadline pressure are a must for success in this position.
Proficient computer and technical skills are required. Applicants should have a working knowledge of all Microsoft products, Adobe Design Suite and Quark. Experience with social media and/or fundraising is a plus.

Samples of work and portfolio should be available upon request.
