First Night Saratoga would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, and revelers who made First Night 2008 a resounding success!!!

With a sold-out 5K Run and almost a complete sell-out of 14,000 buttons, a dazzling evening was had by all - and sandwiched between two massive snowstorms!!!

We greatly value your input and ideas about entertainers, programming, visual art, suggested themes for First Night 2009 and other ideas that will make each year's event the stellar attraction it has become in the capital region! Call to Artists

First Night Saratoga is now accepting applications for First Night performers for this year’s celebration, Wednesday, December 31st ! The 3-page application may be downloaded, printed out, and either mailed or brought to the West Ave. YMCA of Saratoga with a CD or tape prior to the deadline on June 1st. The selection process takes place throughout the summer, and final determinations are made early in the Fall. 

VISUAL ARTISTS ARE ALSO NEEDED---There may be several opportunities for display of artworks in various First Night venues and windows---Please call for further info.

Paint the Town Children's Book

"Paint The Town"--- A delightful children's book based on the First Night Saratoga 2008 event theme. Created by local author Roger Goldsmith and local illustrator Mary A Thompson. Available for $10 at the Saratoga YMCA, 290 West Ave. and Crafters Gallery 427 Broadway.
